How Do You Use a Stonecutter in Minecraft Pocket Edition
The stonecutter is a tool block that allows you to craft items out of stone.
Initially only available in the Pocket Edition, the stone cutter eventually found its way to other platforms.
It has a similar function to the crafting table in that it is used to craft items. However, it can only be used with stone.
The stonecutter is actually more efficient than the crafting table for making stone items.
For example, you can create a set of stone stairs from 1 block of stone using the stonecutter. To make stairs using a crafting table, you need 3 stone blocks.
As well as crafting a stonecutter, you can find them in villages. They spawn in the mason's house and can be used by a mason villager.

You will need a crafting table to be able to make a stonecutter.

When you open the crafting menu, you will see a 3×3 grid, a solitary box, and your inventory.
To craft a stonecutter, you will need to place the materials in the correct pattern into the crafting grid.
The top row should have the iron ingot in the middle box. The second row should contain the 3 pieces of stone. The bottom row of the crafting grid should be empty.

3. Collect your stonecutter
When the ingredients are placed in the correct pattern, a stonecutter will appear in the box to the right of the grid.
